On Saturday, 1 June 2013, at night at 4:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 19.80), a DAF TE95XF registered in Czechia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the DAF (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
