On Thursday, 6 June 2013, at night at around 23:00, in Jonavos district municipality, Vaivadiškių village, on Jonavos street, at the junction with Tvenkinio street, a Mazda 323 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.45‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
