On Monday, 10 June 2013, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 150A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Honda CR-V and a Volkswagen Transporter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Honda (23 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
