On Monday, 10 June 2013, in the evening at around 17:00, in Jurbarko district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 106), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Scenic and a Setra S 315. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Renault (18 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. He was drunk (2.76‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
