On Wednesday, 12 June 2013, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Betygala–Ilgižiai–Krakės–Bokštai regional road (kilometre 30), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 318, a MTZ and a nenustatyta Vokiškas. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
