On Thursday, 13 June 2013, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Kalotės village, at a pedestrian crossing, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Renault (33 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
