On Sunday, 16 June 2013, at night at 2:30, in Prienų district municipality, Vazgaikiemio village, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 1), an Opel Vectra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Opel (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.25‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
