On Sunday, 16 June 2013, in the afternoon at 14:41, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 29.19), a Baotian rolled over. One person was injured — the 22-year-old driver of the Baotian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Baotian (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.16‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
