On Thursday, 13 June 2013, in the evening at 19:30, in Akmenės district municipality, on Eibučių street, at the junction with V. Kudirkos street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a moped. One person was injured — the 71-year-old driver of a moped (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Opel (14 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
