On Saturday, 22 June 2013, in the morning at 10:30, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr., at the junction with Viršuliškių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.53‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
