On Monday, 24 June 2013, at night at 23:30, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Leičiai–Rastinėnai–Kazmiškės regional road (kilometre 3), a Volkswagen Passat hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
