On Friday, 28 June 2013, at night at 1:12, in Šiauliai, on Vilniaus street near No. 24, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler 300M and a Nissan Micra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Chrysler, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.55‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
