On Saturday, 29 June 2013, in the morning at 6:10, in Prienų district municipality, Verbyliškių village, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 80), a Toyota Celica ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident there was fog, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
