On Friday, 28 June 2013, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 271, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-5 and a Ford Sierra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Saab (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
