On Sunday, 30 June 2013, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Didžioji street near No. 68, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Seat Ibiza and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Seat (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
