On Saturday, 29 June 2013, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kauno district municipality, on Nemuno street, a Toyota Supra hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Toyota (a citizen of Russia) (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
