On Sunday, 7 July 2013, at night at 4:30, in Šilalės district municipality, Prapymo village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 247.69), a Renault Magnum E-Tech 480 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Renault (32 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
