On Sunday, 7 July 2013, in the afternoon at 11:15, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 104), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FA 95XF.430 and a KIA Motors RIO. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the DAF (35 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
