On Tuesday, 9 July 2013, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Kaunas, on Pakraščio street near No. 22, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Espace and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 77-year-old driver of the Renault (41 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
