On Wednesday, 10 July 2013, in the evening at 22:36, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 36.35), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (19 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.07‰ blood alcohol).
