On Thursday, 11 July 2013, in the evening at 21:41, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 202.40), a BMW 530 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the BMW (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
