On Friday, 12 July 2013, at night at 23:50, in Šilalės district municipality, Laukuvos town, on Taikos street near No. 64, in a yard, a Renault Megane ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Renault (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
