On Sunday, 14 July 2013, at night at 0:01, in Vilniaus district municipality, Grigaičių village, on Pergalės street, at the junction with Sodų street, a Renault Espace ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.91‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
