On Sunday, 14 July 2013, in the evening at 20:25, in Kretingos district municipality, on Šiaulių street, at the junction with S. Daukanto street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and a Nissan Almera Tino. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
