On Sunday, 14 July 2013, at night at 1:25, in Druskininkų municipality, Leipalingio town, on Merkinės street near No. 29, a Ford Mondeo rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.94‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
