On Saturday, 13 July 2013, in the evening at 22:18, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Jašiūnai–Turgeliai–Tabariškės regional road (kilometre 2.55), a Mazda 626 rolled over. One person was injured — a 28-year-old passenger of the Mazda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
