On Wednesday, 17 July 2013, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, Krikštėnų village, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 57.61), a collision with barriers occurred. The collision involved a Honda Civic and a Citroen Berlingo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Honda (14 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
