On Friday, 19 July 2013, in the morning at around 6:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Dainavos street near No. 3, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra and a Citroen Xantia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Seat, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
