On Sunday, 21 July 2013, at night at 4:25, in Palanga, on Plytų street, at the junction with Kretingos street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Fabia and a Peugeot 607. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Skoda, who failed to obey traffic-control signals.
