On Sunday, 21 July 2013, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Grinkiškis–Pypliai–Vaitiekūnai regional road (kilometre 3.10), a Renault 19 rolled over. One person was injured — the 16-year-old driver of the Renault (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Renault (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
