On Friday, 19 July 2013, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Zarasų district municipality, on the Zarasai–Bradesiai–Obeliai national road (kilometre 7.42), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Impreza and a Ford Transit FT 120. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Subaru (8 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
