On Monday, 22 July 2013, in the afternoon at 16:35, in Radviliškio district municipality, Alksniupių village, on Naujasodžio street, a Renault Laguna ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Renault (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.35‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
