On Monday, 22 July 2013, at night at around 23:00, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Troškūnai–Sudergis–Subačius regional road (kilometre 0.25), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Mitsubishi L200. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi, who violated overtaking rules. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
