On Friday, 26 July 2013, in the afternoon at 14:34, in Vilnius, on K. Kalinausko street, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a BMW 525 D hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
