On Saturday, 27 July 2013, in the morning at 9:09, in Jurbarko district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 96.35), an Audi A6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
