On Friday, 2 August 2013, in the afternoon at 16:07, in Jonavos district municipality, Smičkių village, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 23), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene.
