On Friday, 2 August 2013, in the afternoon at 13:50, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 10), a Peugeot 206 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
