On Saturday, 3 August 2013, at night at 23:54, in Kauno district municipality, on S. Lozoraičio street near No. 9, a Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
