On Saturday, 3 August 2013, in the evening at 20:30, in Kaunas, on Lygioji street near No. 26, a Volkswagen Santana hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
