On Sunday, 4 August 2013, in the evening at 17:04, in Kėdainių district municipality, Žiogaičių village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 68), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN 8.153 and a Volvo S60. Three people were injured — a 11-year-old passenger of the Volvo (treated as an outpatient), a 15-year-old passenger of the Volvo (treated as an outpatient) and a 17-year-old passenger of the Volvo (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the MAN, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
