On Saturday, 17 August 2013, at night at 0:42, in Vilnius, on Konstitucijos pr. near No. 26, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Colt, an Audi 80 and an Audi Coupe. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.45‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
