On Friday, 16 August 2013, in the evening at 19:10, in Anykščių district municipality, Daujočių village, on Daujočių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Gamega/Jega, who was driving a vehicle with faults the traffic rules prohibit driving with and violated warning-signal usage rules. He was drunk (1.85‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
