On Sunday, 18 August 2013, in the evening at 21:02, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 98.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania R 114 LB and an Audi 100 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Scania (17 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
