On Saturday, 17 August 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Širvintų district municipality, Avižonių village, on Kaštonų street, a motorcycle rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of a motorcycle, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
