On Wednesday, 21 August 2013, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Varnių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Smart Forfour and a Mercedes-Benz ML320. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 68-year-old driver of the Smart (9 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
