On Friday, 23 August 2013, in the evening at 21:28, in Kaunas, on H. ir O. Minkovskių street, at the junction with Piliakalnio street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Fabia registered in Belarus and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Skoda (a citizen of Belarus) (13 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
