On Saturday, 24 August 2013, at night at 0:30, in Vilnius, on Viršuliškių street near No. 34, a Mazda 323 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.89‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
