On Friday, 30 August 2013, at night at 1:13, in Utenos district municipality, on the Utena–Kaltanėnai–Švenčionys national road (kilometre 5), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Fiesta and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Ford, who violated overtaking rules.
