On Monday, 2 September 2013, in the afternoon at 13:25, in Raseinių district municipality, Berteškių village, on the Ariogala–Betygala–Šiluva regional road (kilometre 15), a Peugeot 406 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Peugeot (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
