On Monday, 2 September 2013, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kaunas, on S. Žukausko street, at the junction with P. Lukšio street, a Toyota Avensis hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 16-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 77-year-old driver of the Toyota (40 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
